Anyone ever ride Hines? I work in Farmington Hills and am up for some training rides there once in a while. Anyone interested?

I never have, but I can get there in 20 minutes from my house, so would like too.

I'll ride hines, too. Never done it, always wanted to....Weekend mornings work best, as I'd have to fight Ford traffic to get there weekdays....

I live in Farmington and I'm there constantly.  In fact, I'm hoping for a ride this afternoon if it doesn't storm.

Weekday evenings and weekends work best, but I was out there at 7am yesterday!  Feel free to leave a message here or on my blog and I'd be happy to meet up... of course, I'm a new biker so I'm not sure I'm the kind of company you're looking for.

Its a great place for biking and running!!

Every Tuesday night there is a group ride on Hines that runs out of Cycle To Fitness in Livonia. Meet at 6:30, roll out at 7:00, everyone is more than welcome to join us for a 24 mile trip down hines and through Northville.

Some day's I'll be up for meeting earlier and getting more miles in if anyone feels like it.

I ride there every Tuesday night at 5:45PM and then brick it up with a 5K run around Newburgh lake.

We meet at Newburgh pointe and then ride out towards Inkster then back and the past Newburgh Pointe to Northville road then back to the start where we start the run.

I too live in Farmington Hills - very Tri oriented area I guess!

I am always looking for a reason to go to Hines, and this past week was my first ride there.. it is AWESOME!  I got in 20 miles like it was nothing.   Great area.

Let me know if anyone wants to do bricks or rides out there.

Sushigirl - our bikes need to meet!

We frequently do rides in the A.M. during the week from our shop up Hines to Northville, a brief loop of Northville up 5 Mile Hill and then back to Dearborn where we often breakfast at Panera Bread here before the shop opens.

It is an excellent 34 mile out-and-back from here. The wind can be a factor though.
