Subject: New Road Bike
Okay I need some help. I am looking into getting another bike that I can use to and from work and just riding around the area. I only have my tri bike right now and I really don't want to use it to commute around town and work. Any suggestions about what type of bike.

Check out the Javelin Sale on bikes. there is a huge thread here somewhere. You might be able to find a good road bike CHEAP. Lots of people from BT bought bikes from them on this sale.

Yep, that Javelin sale looks mighty tempting. im going to a LBS to get fitted properly than Ill pick up the bike later this week. Hope they dont run out.

I always wanted to get a singlespeed, fixed gear to commute on. Typically can be found pretty cheap.

Otherwise, Id just buy something used that wont likely get stolen if you lock it up outside. Doesnt have to be pretty. "Rust" is a great theft deterrent
