Pre-race routine:

Oatmeal, Banana, Green Tea. The race was actually the last five miles to my 20+mile LSD. Hence I wasn't really concerned with the results but wanted to get a fast finish to my LSD.

Event warmup:

13-Mile warmup around the park = 5m loop, 4m loop, 1m loop, 1.7 mile loop, 1.7 mile loop.

Comments:

Cold. Fingers were practically falling off from the run. Need gloves for this type of weather. A lot cooler than I thought.

What would you do differently?:

Not much, just be better dressed for this thing. Also, need to dump the mp3 because I am not going to Miami with mp3s in my ears...

Warm down:

2-mile jog back home. about 10-12 minute pace.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I was freezing. I had already done 13+ miles. But it was part of my LSD program, so not a biggie.
