Veteran  197   Jackson, TN |  Subject: Spinergy Rev X WheelsI can pick up a pair of these for $100 in very good condition. Only ridden twice, because they guy (who I know very well) picked up a pair of Zipp wheels. Good deal? I'm upgrading my bike in the next six months, and thought this might be a good investment...but, I've read both good and bad things about the wheels online....so, any thoughts? Thanks! B |

Might want to make sure life and health insurance were paid in full prior to plunking down the Benjamin for the set. |

Master 2299 New York | Subject: RE: Spinergy Rev X Wheels It was supposedly "fixed" after a re-design a few years ago. If it's one of the 1st gen models, I'd steer clear. If it's one of the more recent iterations, though, you're probably fine. Either way, I'd ask at least a few questions about a set of aero wheels going for $100. Caveat emptor and such. |
