Subject: Fall Triathlons
I am new to the site and new to triathlons.  I turn 30 on September 30th and desperately want to complete my first race before then.  Does anyone know of any around the metro area????

Check out this site.  www.midwestevents.com. Hit the triathlon button and it will bring up almost every event for the summer.  Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

Hey, that's my BD too! Although, I'll be a little older than 30 this year.  The Treadman Duathlon is down here by Rochester on the 27th.  It's my birthday race this year.  Treadman is kind of a tough course, but I'm going to give it a shot.  Welcome to BT!

check out www.pickleevents.com and look at the Lakes Country tri.  It is up in Brainerd at the end of August, but well worth the drive

I've heard great things about Lakes Country as well. Two other late Tri's are Square Lake and Hudson. I think both have challenging hills on the bike course, but are nice because they extend your season into Sept.
