Anyone have a bike shoe recommendation for the platypus-footed among us? I wear a US men's 10 EE in Brooks running shoes. I'm currently riding with running shoes and cages on my pedals as any bike shoes I've tried just crush my feet. Thanks!

I don't need or use a wide shoe, but Sidi makes a "Mega" size in their road shoes (not in their tri shoes, I don't think).

I have wide feet. I use and really like the Shimano TR-02 Tri Shoe, with the Carbon fibre sole.

The blinding silver colour makes them look fast when they are just laying around.

Expensive shoes but fantastic to ride with, and at the end of the day it's an investment in what we love doing.

Try the new Garneau Tri Air shoe. I have wider than normal feet and can't wear most Sidi or Carnac's.

I know www.all3sports.com here in Atlanta will ship them for free too.

You need to go to local bike shops and try on what they have. My runners are a 9 1/2 4E(I will allow a moment for the gasps to subside). When I bought my first pair of bike shoes, I had to try on every pair they had in my size. I bought "Pearl" because they felt the best. I don't know if anyone sizes bike shoes for wide feet. Unfortunately, I think this is a 'hit or miss' kind of search. Keep trying until you find a good fit. Cages are not the way to ride(MHO).
