Actually, I think it may be a better workout because you can really dial in your heart rate and you're always pushing. There's a very wide range of resistance on the fluid - the faster you go the more resistance you get. essentially you control the resistance level by shifting gears. The only thing I don't love about it is its weight. While its not to heavy to carry around by any means, it seems a little heavier than other trainers. However, I'd gladly carry around a few extra lbs. to ride on my fluid2 |

It has helped me improve my cadance...used to always be in the 70's to low 80's...now can get up in the 90s and have hit 120's doing a spinerval. I like riding indoors.....I can do it when it is dark outside and watch TV. Yesterday I watched the Patriots beat the Steelers for just over an hour...and the time flew by. Having good entertainement helps. I think I'll use my trainer all year long indoors...it is easier being home with the kids when my husband is traveling. I can talk with my kids and train which normal bike rides I can't do. |
