Subject: July 26 - IMKY Course Ride?

My friend and I (possibly a 3rd) are all driving down to Louisville to ride the IMKY course.  Anyone want to join us, shoot us an email (stayput at gmail dott com) to coordinate.  We'll be starting as early as possible...call it 7 ish.

If the course has same total vertical foot climbing similar to IMWI (which I ride a lot) avg MPH for my friend will be 16+ish and I'll be closer to 18+ish ... to give you a guage of speed.

Would love to meet some local folks.  I'll post on Team Ironman Louisville 2008 website as well.

have fun.. I'm sure we will be asking lots of question afterwards.. just because it's fun to freak out a bit..  Do you or anyone actually know what the total climbing is??  just curious more than anything

One of the girls that rode it w/ us was wearing a garmin - she got somewhere around 6,000ft. Accuracy - I'm not sure about. That was for the full 112

really ... that alone makes me feel better,, I rode a 60 mile hilly loop at was just over 4000ft and I didnt' think it was that bad of a ride..

this is going to be so much fun !!!!!!!!!

Ok.  this weekend should be great.  I sent everyone an email with the details for saturday's IMKY full course ride.

I just road the course the last two weeks and I will skip this week and ride the next two weeks. I saw on the Landshark site that a couple folks are in on the 26th as well. Take a look.

Have fun ... BTW I showed only 108 miles?

At 16 to 17 pace : 1.5h to loop, 2hr per loop and 1h back: (US146 is a good place to pick up speed)

cool thanks.  I just posted.

do you have an idea of where to refill H2o on the course?  I'm trying to guage how much water I'll need to bring at the start to get me to the first "water" stop

am i reading this correctly, you shaved 30 minutes off back to the finish compared to 1.5 hrs to the loop?
