I realize I am one of the more cynical posters here but... I can't believe they can charge THAT much for a race and not have chipped timing... in GREENWICH no less!!!!! I won't be in attendance.

So long as the race is for a charity I dont have a problem with a high entry fee since the purpose of the race is to raise money for the charity, not necessarily to give us a venue for racing.  However, I cannot understand why they wouldn't have chip timing as it is totally in accurate otherwise.  Anyhow, sorry to hijack the thread.  I am not racing.  I am playing golf
