Anyone every hear of a Clyde/Athena taking 1st overall in a tri of any distance?  Just wondering as the Clyde winner at my only tri was only 6 - 7 minutes off of the overall winners time.  That's pretty fast in my eyes.  The top Athena was only 15 minutes off of the overall winner as well.

At my first duathlon, I met a guy from the Army's World Class Athlete Program and on their Tri team.  He was at Fort Benning for some training and decided to do an early season du.  He's about 6'4" and, at the time, 205 which was about 10 pounds over his race weight.  He registered Clyde in order to be assured hardware and either won or finished second.
