Who's In and what distance, full or half?

Me-Full

If we get enough intrest and enough people I may try to set up a place (restaurant) to meet after the race. Let me know.

I am signed up for the half. This will be a big challenge for me. Running is not my strength (but then again neither is swimming or biking). The furthest I have run was this past Saturday in a 10K. I am following a training plan and this Sunday calls for a 10 mile run.

Completing this will be a greater challenge than my first tri this past spring. Concerned and anxious, but looking forward to it.

I just signed up for the half yesterday. And today I got bit by a dog (boxer) while out running on my left quad.

count me in for the full, my sister was trying to talk me into doing the half with her. but after IM louisville, I feel like seeing how well my body covers 26.2 with out having to ride 112 miles in the 95 deg heat before attempting to run a marathon. For those of you doing the half for the first time I recomend doing the pacer groups. I joined a pacer group in 2006 when I did the airforce half mary. and it was a great help. I believe that columbus will have the clif bar pace team there, they will be at the expo the days before the race. talk with them and they will help you set goals and put you in a group that would suit you best.

I just read about Pacer Groups on the airplane the other day. Sounds interesting. My concern is I will try to keep up with the groups pace (instead of my own) and will srew up the tempo I have been working hard to establish.

alright - I am in for the full based on my slightly shortened (3 week) training plan. I was able to jump in with a couple 13 milers, a 22 miler and multiple 5-8 milers. I feel pretty good. I believe I can break 4 hours. My only training injury so far has been sore nipples. Not exactly something you can brag about.

Are you going to be wearing any BT gear? How will we know it's you?

I'll be wearing a red turtleneck under my marathon shirt with a Block O on the collar.

Here, this should help......

What do I look like, a cow?  Nevermind.  Don't answer that!   Thanks for reminding me that I have your bell.  I'll stick it in my pocket so I don't forget it.

Good luck everyone!
It's gonna be a GREAT day for a little run!!!

So does everyone know what they will be wearing during the race? I am still deciding if I want to wear my tank top with this colder weather or just a thin running long sleeve top.
