Swim
What would you do differently?: Be more aggressive in the midst of flailing hands and legs and the breast-strokers. I was giving them too much slack and in the process slowing myself considerably. Transition 1
Run
Comments: weather was extremely hot. So happened that Singapore was the hottest in 29 years! There was also haze conditions due to numerous bush fires from mainland. What would you do differently?: nothing much I could've done about the weather. Train more, discipline on water-intake, forgo fuelbelt for 5km runs. Post race
Warm down: massage What limited your ability to perform faster: swim: my wave was tightly contested in the swim leg. not enough space to maneuver. the inexperienced masses prevented me from going faster. must find a way to break out of masses. run: weather was the main factor.
