Subject: Homework part 3
After a day and a half I have finally finished my paper that I had to turn in. I thought that the take home exam would be the one that gave me all the problems. My class is not till tommorow night but I had to get it done today because I am going to  concert tonight and I have a job interview tommorow and I wanted to make sure I had time to train so that meant less time on this site But now I am done and can go to the gym.Ron how was your test?

good job getting it done Kevin.  Tomorrow I'll be getting back 3 exams....the suspense is about to kill me.  1 was done 3 weeks ago, another 2 weeks ago, and 1 yesterday.  We're going on break after this weekend so I know we'll get them all back.  Can you believe this school of mine has a 2 week spring break?  Sheesh....I'd rather just keep going and be done with it.  But they didn't ask me I guess.

I'm all done...well almost. My Law paper was completed and ready to hand in so I asked my wife, who teaches at the university, to drop it off at the Law Department form me. Well, that was a mistake; she read my essay and corrected it so that now I have to redo my essay tonight! That will teach me to ask her to drop off my paper. Actually, I am glad that she did point out the errors...mostly typo's; I was so darned tired when I finished my paper that I was seeing double. Now all I have left is one very easy multiple choice question exam in about a month.

funny Michel.  I always ask my husband to prove read my papers, but all I want is for him to check for typos.  When he starts changing words on me it takes on a meaning that wasn't what I tried to say.  But he always finds typos.  After I spend so much time with a paper it is so easy to miss them.

Glad to hear you're done with that paper

Ellen I am sure that your exam results will be excellent. It is always nice to get a break from school. The couple weeks i had off  helped reenergize me. I am only going to have a week off once or twice for the next year and a half.

*chuckles evilly*

I'm done with that, so I only have to do the kids' homework.  Good luck to the rest of you with your courses. (suckers!)

Reading these posts makes me so glad that I'm out of college!  However, I'd rather be doing that homework than dealing with the 3rd and 6th graders' homework!  Just when you thought you were through with the early grades!

Great job all of you!  I couldn't imagine going back to school and dealing with all of it again.  I really hand it to you all.

Sorry you did not do so will Lara but at least you passed the class.

Thank you for the encouragement for the job interview.

So I went to the Barenaked Ladies Concert tonight and they were all sick. Two of them kept having to go off stage to the bathroom but it was still good. They were in Boston yesterday so I am blaming all you New Englanders for them being sick.

I had tix to BNL in Boston but didn't go.  Too damn old and tired.  I gave them to a prof who didn't think she would go either, but they were corporate tix so I didn't want to give them to just any of the kids I know.

Lara, a B- is a perfectly acceptable grade, hold your head high!

So, not only am I doing my homework, but helping my 8th grader do his, and my college drop-out daughter.....let's not go there.

I think if I had gone to school 20 something years ago I would not be getting near what I am getting out of it now.  I stare around the class at all the (young) blank faces and want to tell them to come back in 20 years!  And the political rantings of some of them are just more than I can bear sometimes......sorry....getting off my soapbox now.

Only reason I went was I thought it was a strip show

I really enjoyed the show even with them getting sick. They had people from their crew take their place on the instruments. Ed one of the singers even did a rap about it.

Hey kgart, congrats on the test and paper!

One of these days I'm going to have to buckle down and trek back to school myself. I escaped college during the tech bubble in '97 when the company I was interning for the summer before my Senior Year made an offer I couldn't refuse.

I certainly don't regret that, as I'm still with the company, but having 2 semesters of college between me and BS in Comp Sci is starting to get annoying.

Well I cheated on the paper, I knew that my instructor loved Jack Welch so that is what I did my paper on. I wouldn't be too good with political science or spanish papers though.
