Road bike/tri bike fit question

Veteran  276   Cedar Rapids, IA |  Subject: Road bike/tri bike fit questionHi All, I'm thinking about getting a tri bike. I was professionally fitted before I purchased my road bike. Pro 5892  , New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Road bike/tri bike fit question In theory, the bike manufacturers could make it easy on us and change the geometry of a tri bike to match that of the same size road bike... Reality is that they often don't... you're probably going to be close, but you may need to go one size down. I would get a fitting for the tri bike before going out spending the money on a new one. |

Champion 19812 MA | Subject: RE: Road bike/tri bike fit question My bike fit guy will tell me the geometry for any bike I want to get....give me what would be custom measurements for custom bike as ideal; then compares it to regular stock bikes that I'd consider. One fit for road bike, tri bike and cross bike....all which have slightly different geometry. I know if I get a bike from my bike fit guy it will be one with me and fit great. Next bike up is a mountain bike...next year |
