How I know the season is approaching:

1-I spend time preparing the next day's meals (chopping fruit salads, lunch, etcs) rather then grabbing whatever out of the fridge in the morning
2-I begin turning social plans down, since they cut into sleeping and training
3-I begin to daydream more about racing :-)

I think you're a little late - I've already been dreaming about transitions!  Must be funny to watch me in my sleep, hopping off the bike and take off running!

- I'm in the signing up stages of triathlons I'll be doing this season.
- I see more people running outside with me and beginning to see them bike as well

1) there is a trail of my suit leading from the front door to the Bike Factory to get every ounce of shineshine in to ride by.
1B) Bibs, jersey, cleats, helmet resting on bike so I can get into them quick!
2) There are blossoms on the trees lining the running trails
3) Palo Alto is rank with cyclists on weekends
4) Gu is showing up in the food log

I love it

1. I begin to not mind rain or cold, but get pissed when it's windy because it makes biking less fun.

2. I feel like a little teeny kid in a really huge candy store.

3. Joe starts leaving "Abuse me's" instead of "Inspire me's" in my training log.

- The track is getting crowded.
- I'm getting scheduled to work traffic control for other people's (local) races.

1. Getting shut out of early morning cycling classes
2. Pool getting more crowded
3. Wanting to blow off the weight room for another 20 minutes on the track (or in the pool)
4. Looking more closely at all the good stuff in the catalogs, and wondering if hubby will notice large boxes delivered to the house
