Subject: RE: Ironman gets taken down...hard. I've had that experience recently too.
I haven't been able to run for the past couple of weeks because I hurt my foot. I also haven't been able to bike because I don't have a bike trainer and NO WAY am I going out in the freezing cold to ride my bike!
That just leaves swimming mostly. For some variety though, I have been doing strength training and yoga. The yoga doesn't bother me, but I have been sore the day after almost every single day I do strength training.
I did 300 calf raises last night. Now my calves are really sore. Moo! (Get it? Calves. Hahaha ).
The thing is though, I am really starting to enjoy the strength training and will definitely be doing it more often. Go figure! |
