Subject: RE: Carbon bike frame Not meaning to derail you post, but - building up a frameset is a great way to go (I did it with my current ride) just keep in mind the separate cost of all the components, added to the frameset, can sometimes bring the price higher than buying a complete bike. It's easy to get caught up if you don't make a budget and stick to it. If you're just looking for a frame to transfer parts from another bike, it is also a great way to go. As for the framesets, I'm thinking they're the same as the Blackbird frames, an Aussie bike company; like Rick said, they're often re-badged and sold for much more. I saw one of these and the owner was quite happy with it. |
