Any tips for getting back on Track after an illness? My 11 month old got sick aobut two weeks ago and then I got sick so now I have not trained for almost two weeks... I feel like a complete slug!! How do I get back to where I was and get re-motivated?

Ease yourself back in. If you start out again too hard you could have a relapse. You really need to listen to your body and give yourself time to fully recover. We have a whole slew of kids on our swim team who have been sick on and off for a couple of months now. They take off a day or two, feel a little better and come back, only to be down again in a couple of days.

I don't know where you were before you were sick, but how about an easy 45 min bike ride in the morning and a 25 minute easy run in the PM? The emphasis is on easy. If that isn't feasible, just pick one activity but keep it easy.

Good luck.

Id say just hop back in there. 2 weeks isn't long enough of a break to loose any serious fitness in fact you might be surprised. A break might honestly have let your body recover a little and if you give it a whirl you could be stronger and faster than ever.
