New user 2 Canada |  Subject: 1st Tri - Lanikai SprintMy first Sprint is Mar 20 in Lanikai, Hawaii and i am really exited about it. Thanks to all for the information in this site. It has been immensely helpfull. Coming from Calgary, this is a great event to begin this sport. I think it way snowing at home a few days ago. I have been able to mimic the coarse over the past few weeks doing stages, so i am cant wait to put it all together now. I hope to complete one more sprint this summer before an olmpic in early fall. Will let you know the results. Thanks again to everyone who contribute information to this site. |

Swim 500 meters, 14:28 Bike 20 KMs 40:28 and Run 5 KMs 26:34 for an overall 20th out of 27 in my group (40 to 44). I posted the results on this site hopefully I entered the data correctly so others can see it. The total time they gave me is 1:21:48 but they must have given me a penalty somewhere bc when I total the numbes I get 1:21:08. But who cares really, I really had a great experience and I cant wait to do the next one! |
