We'll likely be bringing a cooler down too, along with doing the usual pub hopping.  Nemo's is good, and I think I remember some lodge having good bands and drink prices?  It gets a little fuzzy...

Note to self:  follow curegirl around and keep your eyes on the cooler

I will be running this race with Mike, so we will be taking it slow but fun!  I hope to see some of you guys around - I will have pigtails and green ribbons maybe even a green hat.    I may just suprise everyone and go as a pot o' gold.

I haven't been running much. If you are taking it slow, I will be somewhere behind you, slower. I'll search for the pot o' gold. You could make your tiara green and wear it.

It's a loooong run from Compuware to Corktown...but I guess, if your hard core, you could use that as your race warm up.

I, like many of you it sounds, will be taking this race slooow....trying not to kill myself before I can enjoy the festivities.  Hopefully we can find each other down there!  I'm really starting to look forward to this now...

A friend doing Corktown shared with me that all his talk about beer and running was lip service. I'm having a Bridgette Jones moment.

Am I going to show up at this party and be the only one with a beer?

Lets have some honesty here, who is actually running with beer or are we running for beer?

Put me down in the column of "running For Beer" .

Running + beer consumption = falling on my fanny!  I don't bounce like I used to!!!

Running for beer. Beer is our trophy. That way, everyone's a winner.

I guess I'm the big party pooper. I plan to run hard, without beer and probably will only have one or two after-I've got a big presentation at work on monday. Very poor planning on my part.

I will be outside the Mercury Caffee bar prior to the start...11:30ish.  It is very close to the start/finish line

For those of you that don't know what I look like:

Look for the giant, oversized face.  I will likely have a full pint glass in hand.  Laughing

And flanked by a Brazilian and his wife I may still be sporting my beer mug hat by then.

This is going to be a great time. Looking forward to seeing those who I know, and meeting those who I yet don't.

Slainte, y'all!
Jeff

We couldn't find you Kimm!  What a nut house, next year we'll be better prepared.  Pics up in my album.  Not to mention not finding Trish and Jo afterwards.

Thanks for the beer Curegirl

That was a PR today: 29:32. I was pretty wiped-out, but the beer helped me forget about it.
