I'm in the market for a new mp3 player. I saw this model that looks interesting, in that it's waterproof. Does anyone own this model? Any comments on the subject are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

I don't own this model but I own a different one...If it were me and I were using it for more than swimming I dont' think 4 hours of music is enough..but that is just me. It looks pretty cool. I had a speedo waterproof FM radio and everytime I did a flip turn it would cut out. So I suppose that would be a drawback if you are getting it for the FM also.

Here is a review I found online... http://www.t3.co.uk/reviews/default.asp?pagetypeid=2&articleid=3482... I just googled "Waterproof MP3 Reviews"

Good luck and if you buy it let us know how it is!

Freenthec,
Thanks for the reply and link. I'm not sure if the review helps me any though. I can't decide whether the author thinks the player is worth buying or not? As a follow up, the mp3 player comes in 125mb, 256mb and a 525mb. The link I included for was for 125mb. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

I started looking these up cause you got me curious and I found a review on amazon by an actual purchaser. Said something to the effect of great idea but...hard to get the ear buds to work properly and stay in. But still...seems petty cool.

Good Luck!

HA! I can barely swim and breath right at the same time....I think if I was listening to music I might drown!   Personally I like the solitude of my little bubbly underwater world.   I love my iPod mini though for my runs...I always start with the Rocky theme...it gets my juices flowin'.  Good Luck.
