Subject: Anyone Tried M2 Racer Power Module????
I am looking to buy myself the M2 Racer Power Module to convert my road bike seating position to that of a tri specific seating position quickly. I have only ever seen this "gizmo" on the KHS AT320 Tri Bike but it looks to me to be a pretty good alternative to taking my saddle off and reversing the seat tube every time I want to participate in a tri. Supposedly, it is good for shifting saddle positions "on the fly" which would seem to be a good idea given that not all triathlon bike legs would be held on flat terrain; being able to shift your saddle back for climbing hills would be a godsend. Anyone tried this and what comments.

Also, I have not been able to locate one of these in my area (I live in Canada) so if anyone knows some place that sells these let me know the cost.

Ooops! almost forgot, here's a link to the gizmo: http://www.m2racer.com/products.php?cat=1

The Shimano's look nice but have three straps; you would be better off with a pair of cycling shoes that have only one strap for quick access and release. I have a pair of Shimano's A070 that have only one velcro strap; they are wonderfully stiff and quick and easy to ge in and out of.

I use the M2 power module on my Kestrel Talon SL. I use it to convert to a tri position for racing. I prefer the road set-up for training and general riding. I have never attempted to "shift on the fly" (nor do I ever plan on doing really). It is a really good alternative to a forward seatpost which will cost you more.

We sell these on our site and we ship to Canada all the time. If you have anymore questions about the M2, let me know. Here is the link:

Take care.
