I just got my first outdoor ride in today. There were a couple of days last month but I was sick. My god being on a trainer just doesn't compare. The one thing I could do without is those strong spring winds. But it felt really good and let me know where I am. Best of luck to all in both training and racing.
Yeah, I know what you mean, just got my first ride of the season in about a month ago. The winds do suck but it still beats the trainer. Unfortunately tomorrow is looking like an indoor day It's supposed to be low 40's, gusty winds, and rain. I might try and tough it out, but probably not.
Spectacular day in Colorado. Mid 60's just a little wind and 2' snow drifts from Wednesdays snow. The spring winds here shift from down slope to up slope when it warms up, so had head winds in both directions. It sucks when you have to pedel hard down a 5% down grade. Figure it builds strength and character.
