Comments: Sluggish. This was actually the second part of the race as it was a run swim run, and after running 2miles outdoor coming inside was no fun. It was hot and steamy in the room, and the pool didn't cool me off as I had hoped. I didn't do as well as I'd hoped on the swim, but I was going faster than I felt like I was going, so thats something. Both T1 and T2 are included in my swim time. What would you do differently?: I need to work on counting my laps and pacing myself better, it was almost as if I was just going through the motions. My brain and body were not conecting today. I think if my week hadn't been so hard mentally I would have been able to push my body better. Transition 1
Comments: I am slow. What would you do differently?: Go faster. I am just not coordinated when working out and changing modes. Run
Comments: I didn't feel as though I was pushing myself very hard, but my legs weren't listening to me. I felt like my cadence was right on target and when I checked it a few times, it was, but I just couldn't get myself to go faster. What would you do differently?: Better mental training. Strides. Strides and more strides. Open up that gait. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: My head wasn't in it 100%. Event comments: This was a completely different format for me. I enjoy trying different things.
