I'll put my assatar out there regardless if that's what makes everyone happy. (Well, hopefully it makes the women more happy than the guys...not that there's anythign wrong with it..) All I know is I put an extremely aggressive goal out there and the thought of having a team that I couldn't let down drove me to the goal, which in turn will help me reach my ultimate goal at Lake Placid. I"m tapering right now for my Half on Sunday, but I put in extra yardage this morning simply so I'll hit my goal after Sunday's race.

Hard to picture that 2000y is now a light day for me. WOW!!

Sorry. I have not been able to get to the pool as planned as part of the challenge. I started with great intentions and got off to a flyer, however things have been pretty tough this month.

THe only time I can get to my local pool is at 5:30am M/W/F as part of Masters swim team and with a lot of other things going on in my life both at home and at work it has not been able to happen.

My renter left my rental house with little notice and in a terrible state both physically and financially for me which meant long hours and late nights at this place trying to get it rentable again. At work I had to lay off 20% of my team at work and transition myself to a new job before June 1st. And to top it off my wife has had to return to work so I have to look after the kids when I am off.

Lots of excuses, I know. I apologize for making the commitment and not following through on it but sometimes life just gets in the way.....and unfortunately my swimming time has been something I have had to sacrifice for a while.

Sorry guys :-(     I know I suck

Short 1200 for me today, puts me at 20,600 of my 25,000 for the month.

Hopefully OWS of 3000+ tomorrow and then olympic race on Sunday to put me over my totals!

No suckage.  Life takes precedence.  I was hoping that you could have let us known a little sooner somehow, but, that's alright.
