Subject: Charity runs--where to find in my area?
This might be a dumb question--But, I just don't know how to find what charity runs are upcoming in my area. I've checked "google," but I can't find any. Is there a website that allows you to plug in your city, and a list of races/runs will pop up??

You can try active.com. Also your local running store probably sponsors races in your area. Check their website too.

I've always had good luck with coolrunning.com, click on "races/results", pick your state from a dropdown menu, and voila!

Thank you, all, for these links--I've already found two promising races for this September...(when I think I'll actually be able to complete a 5k run successfully) so that's cool!

That one is not for charity though. Maybe I'll end up entering TWO races?
