Swim
  • 03m 20s
  • 150 meters
  • 02m 13s / 100 meters
Transition 1
  • 01m 5s
Comments:

T1 and the overall bike time were combined but based off my watch time on the bike, I have concluded this is my time, or something close

Also had to transitin from run to bike, a lot easier then coming out of wetsuit.

What would you do differently?:

Not bothered with my sunglasses, they fogged immediattly and forced me to stop to remove them
Bike
  • 44m
  • 16 miles
  • 21.82 mile/hr
Comments:

Didn't bring water bottle on course, thought it was short enough that I didn't need it, fatal flaw, probably cost me 2nd overall in the race.
Also made some terrible gear changes that expened too much energy. Allowed myself to get complacent at the begginning of the bike and didn't ever make up for it.
What would you do differently?:

Bring hydration, more soft pedaling, pushed the last two miles instead of backing off.
Transition 2
  • 00m
Comments:

T2 time is combined with swim. A little slow though some hesitation.
What would you do differently?:

should have taken my feet out of my shoes on the bike instead of leaving them on stupid on my part.
Run
  • 17m 58s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 05m 48s  min/mile
Comments:

Felt strong on the run, could have went faster, but wanted to feel fresh on the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
(hit split button coming into T1, so if there is an y disagreement over posted time, have better evidence to argue with)
Post race
Warm down:

Stretched

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Hydration and ability to maintain focus on bike.

Event comments:

This race is a small local race.
It could have been a lot better organized, as far as posting info about course on internet, etc.
Bike lanes were too small and full of debry.
No aid station on bike course.
some of the bike crossings weren't mannned with anyone regulating traffic in and out traffic.
And timing was all wrong, htere eas no accurate times posted, should have split transition times and bik-swim times, to give more accurate idea of rac performance.
