watch out for me, just when you least expect it will come gps the cheetah.  you should see the sick 9:30s jorge is making me run.  i can hold it for 30 mins, plennnty of time to blow by you in a blur.

are you really joining them ?

nope.  all the smack talk just made me wish i did!  see a few posts above & you'll understand my comment.

josh--as soon as i saw wurkit said they needed a 10 min/miler, i knew i couldn't apply for the job.

As of Tuesday, before I got a final person, I wouldn't have cared! Besides, you're not a whole lot slower than that - plus running at night is creepy and will make you go faster

Rick, I haven't heard from Luis either. However, I did hear from our expected driver... yeah, he bailed. Are you okay with rotating drivers? It will give us one extra seat to stretch out... a bonus, I believe.

Email is not a good way to get in touch with Luis.  You can call him 443-538-7738.

MD is "Live Free or Tri Harder" - team #60

VA is "My Ath Ith Thor" - team #61

See everyone tmw LaughingLaughing

I bought a headlamp today because I didn't want to subject anyone else's lamp to my sweat factory, but I do not own a vest and couldn't bring myself to purchase one since I will never be caught dead in one outside of this race.  Is that okay?

Yes, that's fine.  We can share. we just need a minimum of 1 per van.

Not sure why a vest is needed if we've got headlamps and a blinker on, but oh well.

And for all of you guys who are too cool to run 20 miles in a aero helmet and gloves... you oughta be ashamed.  If we want any chance at the costume contest, we're gonna need more than wife beaters.

Just trash talkin my own team here, since I don't own an aero helmet.

Given your propensity for pulling a Steve, I don't want to share your vest either.

Tough but interesting run!  The last legs were definitely challenging from a fatigue perspective.  Because our van was down a runner we ended up splitting extra legs.  Edeline did the first one, I did the second one and Shane did the third.  Ended up increasing each of our overall totals but we did the best that we could and tried not to come too far off of our projected times.  Kind of tricky when the projected pace is based off of a 6 minute runner for 20 miles. Tongue out

But I think everyone did great and no real hiccups overall for the team!!  Congrats guys and it was a pleasure running with you all.  I'm sorry that I couldn't make it down for the finish.  Just too much with the kids and the house for me to get away.
