Subject: RE: Try a tri trianing Consistency, try doing little bits of training most days instead of being lazy 6 days of the week and doing a huge training session 1 day a week.
Make sure you are confident swimming the 300m, beginners struggle with this the most. A swim class or two would be very beneficial just to give you some confidence.
If you can run 10k races, you will have no problem with the run.
Practice going for a bike ride and then going for a short run straight after, as your legs feel kind of like jelly after you bike, just get used to the feeling before race day.
Don't over-do the training, consistency is the key remember.
Good luck, let us all know how your training is going and a recap on your race so we can all say well done and welcome to the club!
Happy training.... |
