Subject: bar tape for aero bars

This is the first time replacing my bar tape on my aero bars and I have a few questions:
1.  was wondering what people are using?
2.  I really like fi'zi:k bar tape on my roadie but I was wondering if there is enough in one package to gover the aero bars.
3.  I have the 2009 Cervelo P2C dura ace. (Red/Silver) Any suggestion on what color I should go with(I am thinking white)?
4.  Does anyone have any suggestions or know a website that gives instructions?

Drop bars, but the same basic idea.

Are you trying to cover the bars as well? I was able to do my base bar and aero bars with one box of tape. One roll covered one side of the bar and one side of the aero bars.

I'm sure I'll get blasted but my long time cyclist side says the only acceptable color of bar tape is black or profile yellow and red splash. White gets dirty and looks like crap very fast.

WAY more than enough.  I doubt I even used half of what was in the box.

White usually gets dirty, but the Fizik tape is really durable and cleans easily.  Go for it.


I agree.  I use far less tape for aero bars and base bar combo than a full set of drops...

I like the camo looks from Profile Design...

i love this website because there is always someone out there wondering the same thing i am...  i also just bought a p2c and was looking to change the bar tape....  i am gonna go feel some at my LBS after work.
