Swim
Comments: going from the run to the swim was VERY HARD for me. it took over 250 yds before i could settle my heartrate and breathing down and just swim instead of gasp. not a bad time for me, but with my slow transition, it hurts. What would you do differently?: train more, get faster. Transition 1
Comments: the bike was cancelled, so this was just run-to-swim. I had to navigate around everyone as the T area was on the pool deck, get undressed and get back into lane 1 before i started. and i forgot my goggles again. at least i didn't get in the pool without them this time. What would you do differently?: i need to train the transitions more, i guess. but the run-to-swim really threw me for a loop. Bike
Transition 2
Run
Comments: i was slower. the wind and cold took its toll, but so did my lack of training for this one. What would you do differently?: train as much as i did for the first race in this series. Post race
Warm down: walk, stretch, shower. Last updated: 2005-03-24 12:00 AM

banana and water. showed up 20 mins before race time for registration thinking it started at 10 am like the last one, and it startd at 9! no real warmup, just had to set up transition area hit the bathroom and get to the line.
ran a few hundred yards and stretched. did no good due to the cold wind and snow.
