A lot of carbs, a little bit of protein, a little bit of fat and a lot of Praying!!!
Event warmup:

The night before I biked 20 minutes and ran 20minutes...

This run was really hard as well. At mile 5 there is a killer of a hill. I walked, at that point I didn't care I was beat.

Not much, I was really glad I did the track practices and trained for hills.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I just need to train a little more, the last tri I did was a sprint in 1998, so I was a little rusty...now that I've shocked my body into remembering...I'm going to smoke the rest of this years races...I can't wait!

Event comments:

I'm going to do this race again next year. My goal is to get under 7 hours, I think I can do that...
They call this race the woodstock of triathlons...I suggest everyone come out once and check it out. The camping and vendors was awesome, not to mention being 5 inches from pros like Peter Reid, Dave Scott and Norman Stadler!!!!
