Subject: Buying used Zipp 404's
I'm negotiating on a set of used Zipp 404's.  Since I'm pretty new to all this, is there anything I should be looking for (or looking out for) when buying used from someone I don't know?

check and make sure the  rims aren't cracked/chipped etc.  also make sure they are true.  definitely a plus if you can get them with tires as well.  ask how many miles are on them too.

Thanks for the tips.  If I've never done this before, how can I tell if they're true?  Mount them on the bike and check for wobbles when I spin it?  If they're not on a bike, is there a way to tell?
