Subject: Registering for 2010 IMWI what do I need?
So I plan on registering for next years Ironman Wisconsin this Monday at the Monona Terrace. I talked to the organizer and she said that you need to pay in credit card and only credit card on the day of. Do I need anything else that day? USAT membership? Or will a photo id along with my credit card be enough?

If you are not volunteering, just a photo ID and a credit card (or debit card) (with more than $550 available on it).  It can't hurt to bring your USAT card.

If you are volunteering, here is the response I got from IMWI, hope this helps!:

Registration for 2010 will open Monday, September 14th at 9am closing at 11am.  Many people show up early to get a spot in line, so please plan accordingly.

You will be required to show a picture id, identify yourself as a volunteer (by wearing your volunteer shirt or wristband) and will be required to pay on-site when you register.  Credit Cards and Debit Cards Only, NO Cash or Checks.  The cost for the 2010 event is $550.  You may only register.

Volunteers will be in the first line and general public who did not volunteer will follow.  There will be no refunds after signing up and limited spots after Mondays sign up.  Registering others is not allowed.
