Subject: Broken TT bars - help please!
While riding tonight, the elbow rest on my TT bars broke.  One of the 2 screws snapped.  Just completely sheered in half.  The big problem is that the bottom half is stuck inside the hole of the TT bar extension.  It basically looks welded in the damn thing.

What do I do?  Any suggestions to get it out?  Or do I have to replace the bar (and remount the shifter, route the cable, etc.)?  I leave in 1 day for my half ironman...

I can't remember what it is called right now, but most hardware stores carry a small tool for removing screws that have snapped. Just go to any hardware store and tell them what happened, they will get you the right tool.
Good Luck

It's called a screw extractor. They ain't cheap, but they're handy to have around.

Thanks guys!  A friend of mine has one and he's gonna do the extraction for me tomorrow.  Crisis averted!
