I just completed my first  real winter run of the year and it felt great!  It's -7 degrees C, wind is 40 km/hr gusting to 60 and a windchill of -17C.  I did 11.5k, first 7.5k on a snow covered trail then the last 4k on the road.  I get to do it all over again tomorrow too except it will be a few degrees warmer and the winds will only be 30 to 50.  Good times!  Laughing  How is everyone else doing with the winter runs?

I did several cold runs this week. In the 5-10F range, with windchill below 0F. It wasn't quite as windy, but it was nasty running into the headwind at times. I try to keep my runs in places that are more sheltered from the wind if I can.

I skipped a couple when the weather folks said it was a blizzard outside, but it's been in the teens and 20s F, so the tights and mittens are getting plenty of use.

Thursday run was 18 F and today's run was 30 F with 3-5 inches of snow on the ground and still coming down. Tons of fun.
