Welcome!  I used to be from Utah, so always a soft spot for the state.  Most of my family still lives there.  Now I'm a Californian.  I'd like to plan a Utah tri one day, I think that would be fun.

You really live in Price? Where do you ride out there? I live in Spanish Fork, so I am riding out towards Eureka all the time. I have spent time in Price and I am assuming you are riding on some of the state roads through there. There are some killer hills around there -- you must be great on them.

My guess is you are racing Echo. Which distance are you signed up for?

Mike

Mindi,

My strong point is my cycling. I'm not fast but I do alot of road and mtn biking so I'm comfortable with that. I am a very slow runner and swimmer. So, I won't be finishing in the front! I just want to finish. How about you?

My strong point is my swimming. I like to bike, but I dread running. I actually only like running on a tredmill because then I can't see in front of me just how much further I have to go. Like you my plan is to finish the race. I sure am excited though...everyday since my job is really boring, I read all kinds of stuff pertaining to Triathlons and I get this nervous butterfly feeling in my tummy. It is driving me nuts... but I still have a lot of training to do!!! Best of luck! Let me know how your's went when you do do it!

Mindi

Welcome!  I live in Orem (but my husband's family is in Emery County) and am doing the Saratoga tri tomorrow.   You are going to do the Scofield tri?  Will the ice be off the lake by then?

Hey there! Yeah I heard that the water will be around 70 degrees for the Triathlon. That is cool that your husband is from emery. My parents just bought a 26 acres in Orangeville. How funny. Small world. Good luck at the Saratoga Springs tomorrow!!
