Need a 54 cm road bike for beginner

I've got a 54cm 2007 Trek 1000 with only 1,000 miles on it. It's in extremely good condition and I've also for a carbon fiber profile design fast forward seat post (to make it mroe tri friendly). I used clips on with it, and it was perfect for me. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you some pictures. I'm located in the Philadelphia area.

quick question regarding the size of the bike you have for sale? what height male would that fit. Im a newbie thats looking to get a desent bike to start off with in order to give myself a pretty good chance at staying with it. Can you give me some of your stats ( height,weight) so I can judge. How much as well, and are you close to chicago?

I am planning to sell my 2007 Cervelo P2 in the next couple of weeks. It is in very good condition as I have used it for a handful of races and that's it. The rest of the it has been on a trainer in my living room...which has now been taken over by our daughter.
