Just started training for triathlons a month ago. Have been riding a hybrid bike for over a year and love it, so I know I'll continue cycling even if I don't get bit by the tri bug.

I am looking for a 54 cm (preferably carbon frame) bicycle. Women's design a plus. I"ll use clip on aero bars until I'm ready to upgrade to a tri bike.

If you received a new bike for Christmas and need some extra $$ to pay off those credit cards, why not sell your old one?

Obviously, the bike needs to be in good shape, never crashed or laid down, decent tires, etc. I'm willing to spend between $750-$1000.

Thanks and Happy New Year!

I have a 53cm Litespeed Sienna with 9 spd 105 on it. It is in great shape but just a tad beyond $1k though. If you are interested let me know. If not that is fine and good luck with your search!

I've got a 54cm 2007 Trek 1000 with only 1,000 miles on it. It's in extremely good condition and I've also for a carbon fiber profile design fast forward seat post (to make it mroe tri friendly). I used clips on with it, and it was perfect for me. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you some pictures. I'm located in the Philadelphia area.

My first post on here didnt come through!
I have a 2003 Giant OCR3 in MINT condition. It has served me well and now that I just bought my QR I need this gone for funding purposes. It is a size medium so I believe it will serve well for the size you need. I have pics if you want them. Good luck!

I am planning to sell my 2007 Cervelo P2 in the next couple of weeks. It is in very good condition as I have used it for a handful of races and that's it. The rest of the it has been on a trainer in my living room...which has now been taken over by our daughter. Thus, I was planning to auction it off on ebay, but if you want to take it off my hands and spare me the auction, I will sell it for $1000. If interested, I will send you as many pictures as you like. Here is some info about this model...

–Full aero TT/Tri frame and seatpost – Building on twelve years of experience, this member of the P2 family offers pro-level performance at an affordable price. The downtube, seattube and seatpost all feature Cervelo’s proprietary TrueAero aerodynamic shapes.

–Rearwheel cutout – The seattube features a tight-fitting rearwheel cutout to further improve the aeordynamics. The frame has horizontal dropouts with set-screws to allow the rider to adjust the cutout gap depending on the size of tire used, and ensures that the airflow from the seattube to the rearwheel is as smooth as possible for tire sizes from 19-25mm.

–Cervelo Smartwall 2 tubing – Putting the material where it matters, the P2 SL offers great bottom bracket and torsional stiffness despite the narrow aerodynamic profile of its tubes.

–ICS Internal Cable Stops – The best internal cable stop system available. Easy to install, easy to service, easy to keep clean and improved aerodynamics.

–Adjustable geometry – The flippable seatpost allows for an adjustment in seattube angle range of anywhere between 74-79 degrees to tailor the geometry to your specific desires

Hi - not sure which bike you are asking about on the chain but I have the 54 inch 2007 Trek 1500 road bike for sale at $650 and I am in Arlington Heights. I have done some sprints on the bike and I love it the bike. My Tri training group are talking me in to a half iron so I want to get a tri bike and don't think I need both. Great bike , highly recommend it and would not sell it if I was on the same path, no crashes or trauma. I am 5'7" with short legs. The bike works for me and taller but likely not shorter than 5'6"......Mike 847-909-5643
