Subject: Half Full Bike Course
So they finally posted the cue sheet for the half full bike course.. I made a route for on mapmyride http://www.mapmyride.com/route/us/md/columbia/633126262247039278

So it is a 2 loop course .. wish it was one loop since there are so many good roads out there.. it includes the hill in Irongirl and then changes up the CT course a bit by making the loop a little bigger.. what are people opinions? .. me.. I would prefer if the route for a new race would change things up a bit.. every tri in columbia is so close with respect to course layout

  Thanks for posting this.  I saw that they posted the cue sheet a week or so ago.  It took me too long to load Mapmyride to really map it at work.  I agree with the race being the SAME course as always. 

But if you look at it from the RD perspective they have it a lot easier with the local police with shutting down fewer "new" roads with a different course.  Might also have fewer intersections that way too with traffic problems.

I'm interested considering this will be my 2nd HIM this coming season.

 

Who else here is doing this race?

yikes. I hate going up Tridelphia that way.  Yeah, I do a lot of those roads already on training rides.  No thanks.  Its why I don't do Columbia anymore either.  But I"ll go do it as a training ride.

What race is this? Is there a Columbia half now? I'll check it out... Next year I am on Columbia, Eagle, Rocky Gap Xterra (let me know if you want to hit that; i got an extra trail bike...) and Augusta half. What is this we are talking about, tho?
