Sugarland Texas (Outside Houston) Distance: Sprint 1/2 Mile Swim, 13 Mile Bike, 3 Mile Run Goals: 1) To break the magical 2 hr barrier (Woodlands Tri I was SO close @ 2 hrs 1 Min!) This is my 3rd Tri ever and I am still just building volume - not particularly fast yet, but dedicated. 2) Improve my run - my training since my last tri has been centered on improving my runs. 3) Meet my fellow BT'ers this weekend - good to put faces with names. One day, I'd like to place... but that is a race for another day :D Do you have the prerace jitters yet? Oh yes. They haunt me during my taper.... did I do enough bricks? Maybe I should have swam a little more... What do I do if I squeeze a gel packet and miss my mouth like last time (glazed gomez - not a pretty sight)... |
