Subject: Recovery Foods

After a 25 mile bike ride on rollers I was hungry, and I am trying to be smarter with my choices of food.  So, I steamed some broccoli and made some Tuna for a sandwich.  Is that a smart choice for recovery, or does it really matter when I eat.  Doesn't it take too much time for digestion to make a recovery meal a waste of time?

Thoughts???

I agree with this, but really only feel the need for a recovery drink if the workout was over 2 hours.
