How fast does it generally sell out?

Very quickly, as there aren't many slots available to the "general public". But there are always slots available from those who can't make the ride.

If you didn't join the club, the registration for the general public, (lol.. that sounds stuffy), is Feb 16. Sign up immediately that day if you're interested. I'll post a link if needed. It really is an amazing ride, imho.

You guys are very close to me when you get to Tom Johnson's Camping Center.  I routinely ride hwy 80.  Just riding that part only is a GREAT ride.

Headed up tomorrow, late morning. May go all the way to summit from 80. Weather is incredible up there this week. Ranger said it was warm for ANY time of year up there, much less April.

Weather forecast kinda iffy @ 30-40% chance of showers. That will add a ton of misery to a ride that is already a sufferfest. It is what it is.

Rode 16 this morning in a yucky rain, and like I said earlier, I'm very close to the Tom Johnson's transition.  Rain really sucked, but the temp wasn't too bad.  However, from my house, the clouds are very low on/around where 80 goes up the hill.  If they stay low and it doesn't rain, it should be very comfortable when you get to this area.

Never made it.... leg locked up into Marion and it kept seizing up on me.... like a cramp but worse. This year I was assaulted. I'll be back hopefully.
