Joe and I were running and chatting this morning about how we need to get more BTers to Baltimore !

Would anyone be interested in a 6-7 mile run followed by brunch in the city ?

My buddy Scott and I did this on this past Saturday.  There is a nice little bagel place not too far from the train run.  But I could be down for some Bmore running and brunch.

Keep me posted.

I'm down for bmore running anytime, except from Sunday to Saturday this coming week since I'll be out of town.

If you haven't run in the city, there is a really nice path along the water that you can take from Canton through Fells/Harbor East/Inner Harbor and all the way into Fed Hill if you want, so you get views of the water and the good parts of the city.

I'd like to get some group run time in so let us know when you want to do something. I'm only a few min outside Baltimore.

Running in the cold = special kind of stank... so I'll spare you my presence on this.

Speaking of which, does anyone else have a big difference between their winter exercise induced stank and their summer exercise induced stank.  I obviously sweat more in the summer, but I could kill roaches with that winter stuff.

Since the trails are completely buried this would be a good Saturday for a city run + brunch.

I just have to be home by 10:00 for my daughters basketball game

I don't think this weekend will be good... depends on what the sidewalks look like, but as now most of them aren't dug out. Running on the roads isn't a good idea right now, either ...

This Saturday or Sunday?  The rain coming this week should clear up what is left of snow on the sidewalks and the waterfront promenade.  A change of clothes should help cure that special kind of winter stank if you worry about such things.

That sounds good !

We could do a 5-6 miler and end somewhere for brunch? We need to figure out where to start/ end and make sure it's near a restaurant and close enough to walk back to the cars.

I'm sorry. Saturday morning works better for me.

I'm also available Saturday and Sunday afternoon but that would have to be something other than brunch.
