Angry of what now seems even MORE was the over hype that last 3 weeks... Something tells me is was sort of a scam and publicity stunt... I could be wrong. I don't think its a scam or publicity stunt at all. I just watched her downhill run and you could tell she was favoring the leg at times. I think it just showed that she is as fast on 1 1/2 legs as the other women are on 2. It sounded like it was just an issue of how much pain she could tolerate. She could still do everything, it was just going to be incredibly painful. |

I can see your point. But I STILL think the media probably took this story and REALLY ran with it... Probably gave it more attention that it deserved. We out shot them 45 to 20 but somehow ended up in a shootout that went too the 4th shot to determine the winner. The Swiss goalie was out of this world and had one hell of a night. Their defense all around was great. Crosby who scored the winner on his second chance in the shoot out had a great quote. Something like "I always dreamed of winning it for Canada in front of the country in a shootout. Only in my dreams I score on the first try". Anyways, I am still tense from watching it last night. Can't wait for the Canada and USA matchup. |
