Subject: running on incline question

I was looking at splits after a long run and I noticed my pace sped up considerably (45 seconds a mile) on a slight incline without a significant change in effort. the incline was probably about 2%-3%. It was on a new route. So, I have never had a chance to run a significant distance at that grade before to notice before.

Could this be an indication that I should adjust my running form a bit?

It's possible, but why are you thinking this? On your log it says you pushed the inclines. That sounds like more of an effort than your normal runs. It could also have been just a good day and there is nothing wrong with your form. Not enough information.

That's what I was thinking.  Maybe just a good day...

That comes to mind WAY before a form issue would.  Especially if it's just one workout.  I would suggest not doing major form changes due to ONE workout...

It was during a different run than the one I pushed up the hills. I wasn't thinking about making any changes yet, mostly pondering and wondering if anyone else had noted speed increases on certain inclines.
