Well so far this year is tilted toward tri more than running to build for IMWI but I will probably throw a few more running races in there somewhere.  Anyways, here is the year so far:

April  17 - Lynch's Woods 24 hour Ultra
May 16 - Ironman Florida 70.3
June 5 - Rock n Roll Half 70.3
Sept  12 - Ironman Wisconsin 140.6
Late Fall/Winter - A marathon somewhere

Planning as my A races this year:

Ironman France
Canadian Death Race

If I get in to the NYC Marathon, I'll do that as well. I'm also thinking about the GC R2R2R next month, but we'll see if that comes together. Add in some other shorter races, and it'll be a full summer.

Well this is my first year returnign to running after a long layoff so I'm planing my races to build for a 50K in the fall. If all goes well  MAYBE a 50mi in the early part of 2011

April 10, 2010 - ETRU Hog's Hunt 25K trail run.

Septemer 4th, 2010 - Capt'n Karl's Endurance series "The Shoe" 30K night race.

November 20th, 2010 - The Wilde Hare 50K (This will be my 'A" race)

Hopefully all goes well and I make the season a success. If all goes well I'll do a 50mi in 2011

All these races are part of the Tejas Trails Ultra series. Here is the link if anyone is interested.

You got in on the CDR... I have my eye on that race for either 2011 or 2012.  Sounds like an awesome race.  I'll be looking forward to your race report.

Nice list!! I'm also planning on one of the Capt'n Karls late night runs! In prep for my first attempt at 100. I'm doing the one near Marble Falls. (From DFW)

Trail races for this year are:
Rocky Raccoon 50 (Done)
Toughest N' Texas 50K (waco)
Zane Gray 50
Jemez Mountain 50
Lake Tahoe 100 (Pacing 50)
El Scorcho 50K
Capt'n Karls 60K
Arkansas Traveller 100

It's possible my friend for Tahoe may bail and that won't happen....

That is the same one I'm looking at doing.  Keep in touch with me. My parents Live on Lake Travis  so I may be able to hook up free lodging and transportation to and from the race..  I have read your race reports and your alot faster than I am but you can get the beer ready at the finish line LOL!!

I guess we are lucky there are alot of great trail races in reasonable distance between Houston, Dallas, & San Antonio.

I want to find out if the race is a trail race or on the roads of the state park do you have any idea?

I have an easy schedule this year.  I usually have a heavy year then a light year.  My dream is to do the Deca i next year in Mexico.  I will be turning 50 so that will be my challenge.  I'm not fast but I'm stubborn, perfect combo for ultra events.

Katy Flatlands is a bike ride and it is pretty easy-all flat-mostly just sleepy afterwards and my neck/shoulders hurt last year when I did it...saving up for a 100 mile run at the end of this year...hopefully all these other runs will get me there!  That's the goal in my mind-hope my body agrees.

WAAAHHH...everything I wanted to get into already closed last month.  I want to do 1-100 mile race this year.

Ramification - driving distance and scenic.

IF I do Javelina again, I might murder myself...but it is a good challenge...easy to get to.

I'd LOVE to go back to headlands...

San Diego is closed.

AC is full.

I really wanted to do the Hells Hills but it was on Easter weekend and I have a 6 year old so I opted for the Hog's Hunt the following weekend instead.  I'll look for your race report on the Hells Hills race.

Here is how my ultra schedule is shaping up:

May - Pocatello 50 miler
June - Lake City 50 mile
August - Cascade Crest 100 mile
November - perhaps the Silverman iron distance tri

I did not made the lottery for Massanutten 100 mile or the Hardrock 100 mile :-(

I will also do some shorter distance runs and triathlons throughout the year.
