Do you mean a watch that has a pedometer in it or would you be ok wearing a footpod?

Garmin makes the Forerunner 50 and the new version of it the Forerunner 60. You could also look at the forerunner 305 which is GPS can use a footpod if you buy it for indoor workouts.

I'm looking for one for my girlfriend's birthday.  The forerunner 50 looks like it may work.  Any cheaper ones that you know of that are good for the price?
