Unless you plan on using them in a race, don't bother using these toys! (but if you find a race where swim aids are allowed, I'm bringing my 225hp outboard)

Actually, for me at least, the single biggest improvement I made with my swimming was using a pull buoy. I'm convinced that a coach would not have been able to verbalize the flattening out of my over-rotation (acquired from Total Immersion) that I needed to do, because I "knew" what I needed to be doing and what it should look like, but I was unable to do it until the pull buoy forced me into a less over-rotating swimming style.

I'm hoping the paddles will uncover any pull deficiencies as well. I'll try not using the wrist strap and see how it goes.
