If you haven't registered yet you are out of luck.  Only took 51 days this year to reach capacity (45k).

I think you could still get in via a Charity Slot, tour slot, etc... but it will cost you more.

It sold out in less than two months...and did so a full month sooner than last year's record setting sell out.

I bet another record is broken at the 2010 Chi Marathon...slowest average finish time.

Running a marathon has become cliche. I'm never going to be able to do one because of my crazy flat feet (I've run up to 18 miles before). I know my limits. There is no glory in walking a 1/2 or a 1/4 of the race.

Well I got into it just in time.  My old training group is getting back together so that is what is driving me forward at the moment.

Probably be one of my slowest finishing times but after the year I had it will be one of my best finishes.

last year I tore my ACL and MCL in August. With only two months until the marathon, I was planning on dropping my number for someone.

They said no transferring of numbers, so I could not do it.

Then being the that I was I figured I already paid for hotel/race etc. I said I wanted to run.  Without running a single mile from August 7th til race date, I actually ran the marathon and finished in 4:03ish.  0 miles in two months with a bum knee.  I will take it.

I was hoping this year was going to be my year for the marathon...considering I want to have my first full marathon be Chicago...looks like next year.  My friend is getting married on the Friday of the weekend, so I knew this was NOT going to happen this year.

Oh well, 2011 it is!!!

well Chicago is great if your fast or not very fast.  I have heard inbetween its not so great.

When I did my first Chicago in 2008 I had a wedding the night before. Lets say I was telling everybody I was drinking bloody marys so I didnt seem like a wuss. It pays to be a fan of tomato juice. Haha
