Subject: Anybody racing Hillarys?

Anybody racing at Hillarys on April 11?  I had this down to do to compare how I far I had improved in the last 12 months.
But..... it's the day after my birthday so might not be in top shape
Flying back east again on the Monday so Q time with my wife will be precious
Will a longer training session be more beneficial 3 weeks before Busso?
Don't want to risk the knee in a race, even though it was good for the BRW and is feeling a lot better now than it has done for the last few weeks.

Thoughts?
Nigel

eek, tough one but I don't think you should do anything that might jepordise Busso, that's been your prime goal for a year now and I'd be worried that you would push it on race day and bugger the knee.  Spend the time with your Mrs and score major brownie points (would work for me :-))

Not doing it meself, thought about it but I enjoyed doing the course so much at the Women's Tri that I want to leave that as my last race of the year before committing to the whole race series next year.  If I knew I could do as well I'd give it a shot but I've done so little over the past three weeks due to being sick and the sodding storm damage.  Want to quit while I'm ahead and consolidate my gains over the winter.

Oh Daisy!!!!
You're such a spoilsport Wink but I know you're right.

I have my goal this year of Busso and shouldn't do anything to spoil it.
Can always do the sprint series next season if we stay in WA....   Oh, and the OWS series as well !

Good on you for having the willpower to not race and build up for next season!

Still can't believe I missed the storm!!!!

I don't do quick Jeff!  I'll probably take Daisy's advice and try and avoid injury!

Still time to change my mind though.....
